  • Dr. Rob paul senior pastor

    Rob came to First Baptist Louisville as senior pastor in June of 2014.  When away from ministry he enjoys reading, snow skiing, and running with his wife, Melanie. He and Melanie have two grown children, Emily and Robert who are both married and live in Birmingham, Alabama.  Rob is also a lifelong Alabama fan - Roll Tide!  His favorite Scriptures are John 3:16, Acts 1:8 and Ephesians 3:20-21.  His favorite hymn is Worthy of Worship.

  • newlie long education minsiter

    Newlie, minister of education, has been on staff at First Baptist Church of Louisville since 2008.  When he is away from ministry, he's a busy father of three.  Newlie and his wife Christy, have three children: Wyatt, Ella Maria, and Isaac.  His favorite scripture is 2 Cor. 5:17.  His favorite song is "Amazing Grace".  Newlie had the honor of baptizing his two older children at First Baptist Church of Louisville in 2015.  

  • scott lowrey youth minister

    Scott, student minister, has been on staff at First Baptist Church of Louisville since 2014.  While he loves baseball and the MSU Bulldogs, his happiest times are spent with his young family, high school sweetheart, Heidi, and son Barrier.  His favorite scripture is Romans 5:8 and his favorite song is "Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery" by Matt Papa.  he was born in Starkville, grew up in Philadelphia and lives in Noxapater.

  • missy hudspeth children's minister

    Missy, children's minister, has been on staff at First Baptist Church of Louisville since 2014.  When she is away form ministry, she is busy enjoying her family.  She and her husband, Cully, have three very active children who participate in a myriad of sports and extracurricular activities including baseball, cheerleading, basketball and football.  Her favorite scriptures are Numbers 6:24-26, Jeremiah 29:11 and Isaiah 40:31.  Her favorite songs are "Help Me Find It: by Sidewalk Prophets and "Glorious Day" by Casting Crowns.  Missy has attended First Baptist Church of Louisville for several years and was baptized in the church six months before she married Cully.

  • Jean Jones pastor's secretary/treasurer

    Jean, pastor secretary and church treasurer, has been on staff at First Baptist Church of Louisville for 34 years.  In addition to her current responsibilities, she's recently begun planning and preparing the Wednesday night supper.  When Jean's away from ministry, she's enjoying spending time with her family or settling in with a good book. She and her husband, Glynn, have a daughter, a son, and five grandchildren.  Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11-14 and her favorite hymn is "Great is Thy Faithfulness". Jean has been a member of the First Baptist family her entire life and was baptized in the church when she was seven years old.

    Tonya, ministry assistant, has been on staff at First Baptist church of Louisville for 15 years.  When she is away from ministry, she enjoys watching the Mississippi State Bulldogs or traveling with her family.  She and her husband, Chris, have 10-year-old twins who keep them busy with cheerleading and baseball.  Her favorite scripture is 1 Peter 1:4-8 and her favorite song is "East to West" by Casting Crowns.  Tonya has attended First Baptist Church of Louisville since birth and was baptized in the church at age nine.

  • terry carter building superintendant

    Terry, facility manager, has been on staff at First Baptist Church of Louisville for eight years.  When he is away from ministry, he enjoys bow fishing with his son and flying drones.  He and his wife Re-C, have a daughter and son and four grandchildren ranging in ages from seven to a year and a half.  His favorite scripture is John 1:12 and his favorite song is "Amazing Grace". Terry was born in Sumter, South Carolina, lived abroad in his youth, and has called Louisville home since he was a teenager.
