TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY - I married my high school sweetheart, Heidi, in May of 2011.  In November of 2014, God blessed us with the cutest little boy, Barrier.  We call him Bear for short.  he is quite mischievous, but we are so thrilled we get to raise such an awesome little boy.  Bear enjoys looking at books, playing the drums, and eating (all the time).  We currently live in Noxapater.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN? - I was born in Starkville, MS.  However, I grew up in Philadelphia, MS. I spent most of my days trying to perfect my baseball game.  For me, baseball was life.  If I wasn't playing baseball, then I wasn't living.

WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL? - I have an Associate of Fine Arts degree from Meridian Community College.  I am currently working on my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Christian Counseling at Liberty University.  I plan on pursuing my Master of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

HOW DID YOU MEET HEIDI? - Heidi and I have a unique story.  We met a year before we started dating.  In fact, when we met she already had a boyfriend.  So we were friends first.  One June afternoon I was working as a lifeguard at the local water park, and I saw Heidi enjoying the wave pool.  I had heard she was no longer with her boyfriend.  So, I calmed the butterflies and asked her out right there on the lifeguard stand.  That was 2005, and 10 years later we are still together.  I could not have made a better decision.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO AWAY FROM MINISTRY? - When I am not doing ministry, I really enjoy being outside with Barrier and Heidi.  Whether it's throwing the Frisbee, riding the four wheeler, or just playing the guitar on the porch, I really enjoy spending time with my family.  We also enjoy driving to Starkville and cheering for our Dawgs when we have the chance.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING MINISTRY AT FBC? - Doing ministry at FBC is so rewarding.  It's like you're doing ministry with your family.  It's truly a blessing to be a part of an amazing staff, and it's a privilege to come alongside our church family and serve them.

WHAT IS THE GREATEST SPIRITUAL TRUTH THAT YOU HAVE DISCOVERED? - I just get overwhelmed  with the generosity of God.  It's like; I don't deserve this love, this grace, this mercy.  Yet, God never ceases to pour out his love.  Despite my faults, he never stops being gracious.  He never stops being generous.  That generosity drives me to want to love like God.
