Harvest Church

Andrew Hanna and his wife Mary Margaret moved to New Orleans in 2016 in order for Andrew to pursue a Masters of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. They joined Immanuel Community Church (Also one of our church partnerships) soon after and quickly grew to love New Orleans. After graduating seminary in 2018, Andrew coached basketball at Phillis Wheatley Community School and got further involved in the Tremé-Lafitte neighborhood.

As God began to stir up a desire in Andrew to plant a church in New Orleans, Immanuel Community Church affirmed that calling and gave him the opportunity to serve as a pastor. In 2021, Immanuel sent out the Hannas with a core group of members to plant Harvest Church in the Tremé-Lafitte neighborhood.

E 3:20 Ministries

Junior Davis was called to preach out of FBC Louisville. After pastoring a church for a number of years, He and his wife (Margaret) felt the call to full-time mission work. Since accepting that calling Junior and Margaret have moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where they are sharing the love of Jesus with a group of people in desperate need of hope.

First Baptist Church Missionaries

First Baptist has been blessed to send out missionaries from our very on congregation. People who once sat in our pews each week have now uprooted their lives to be planted where God has called them to do his work. For safety reasons we are unable to disclose who these people are or where they are planted. However, you can join us in praying for them on a daily basis.

Other Ministries Funded through the Great Commission Fund:

Baptist Children's Village: (Water Valley & Independence)

The mission of The Baptist Children's Village as a Christ-centered ministry is to help children and their families fully understand and experience the healing ministry of Christ by meeting their daily needs and inspiring them to become Christian adults who are happy, healthy and mature. The Baptist Children's Village has been caring for Mississippi children since 1897 and has grown to a 7-campus, statewide ministry, providing the best possible residential care for about 300 children every year. Because the needs of children and their families have changed drastically since those early days, we continually evaluate this ministry to meet these ever-changing needs, always maintaining the primary focus of our founding father--to show Christ's love to children and families. The Baptist Children's Village is the official child care agency of The Mississippi Baptist Convention. Our Headquarters are located in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

Backpacks of Hope

Back Packs of Hope is a ministry that started right out of First Baptist Church Louisville. Each week of the school year, bags are packed with snack foods for the weekend. These bags are then distributed to children throughout the county that are in need of these bags. These bags contain: assorted crackers, fruit snacks, pudding cups, pop tarts, potted meats, etc... These items can be donated throughout the year to assist in this ministry. This ministry is now ran out of First Methodist Church, but will always have a special place in our heart.

Christian Friends

Located directly across the street, Christian Friends provides clothes and other goods to those in need. Even if you cannot give financially to this origination you can still donate clothes, shoes, and other items to help support their ministry.

Starkville Pregnancy Care Center

Starkville Pregnancy Care Center supports women who are or might be unexpectedly pregnant in their journey by offering services completely free of charge. The center is committed to providing the information and care needed to assist others in making the most empowering decision possible.

Lake Forest Ranch

We exist to minister to the body of Christ by nurturing the saints and reaching out to those who don't know Christ. We offer Christ-centered camps and retreats that are biblically sound and relationally strong, providing godly leadership for age sensitive programming in a fun-filled environment.

In keeping with this mission, during off-season dates, our facilities are exclusively available for use by church groups and other parachurch ministries for spiritual retreats.

In 1950, Charles and Bonnie Barge of Macon, Mississippi began an interdenominational Christian camp ministry in the midst of a 50,000 acre pine forest in rural Noxubee County. For over 50 years, Lake Forest Ranch has been providing Christian camps and retreats in a pristine environment that is among the most beautiful settings in the Southeast. Because of its interdenominational status and remote location, many church and ministry leaders have only recently become acquainted with this valuable resource.

The purpose of Lake Forest Ranch is to support the Body of Christ by offering Christ-centered camps and retreats that are biblically sound, relationally strong, and spiritually nurturing. We provide godly leadership for age-sensitive programming in a fun-filled environment.
